Created a web space with information about Prague, Prague's cool and design hotels and restaurants. We are a couple of web design freaks living in Prague, running a web & design studio, very interested in design spaces such as restaurants and design hotel rooms. Every month we will keep you updated with pictures and a review of one of the Prague's interesting venue. ALCHYMIST GRAND HOTEL & SPA

This boutique hotel is a noble 16th century baroque landmark. A placid oasis dedicated to well being, the finest luxury spa offers restful revitalization in unrivalled privacy and comfort. The oldest preserved part of the Dum u Jeziska, is the rear part of the structure facing the courtyard. The lower part of the original tower structure could date from the fortification of the Lesser Town in 1257, the oldest Premyslid fortification. This tower, which later underwent a Baroque adaptation, is decorated between the second-floor windows with a very well preserved polychrome relief sculpture of Our Lady of Loretto. Accommodation here consists of 47 rooms and suited of istinctive sizes. They are all individually decorated, fusing styles from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Spacious rooms come with huge, high beds, furnished with valuable antiques and arts, and equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, direct dial telephone, high speed internet access, safe and minibar. On the ground floor, a small spa invites you for a relaxing Balinese massage. There is a dipping pool, steam room/sauna and special couples suite designed for side-by-side treatments.
